Gold: jewellery other than 24K at 82 % of the fine gold value; 24K jewellery at 88 %; coins at 90 %; and ingots at 96 %. Silver: 90 % of the fine silver value, depending on weight, fineness and quantity. Silver coins are quoted at total weight per fineness; silver ingots are assumed to be 999 ‰. The rates for gold-plated items and dental gold are fixed. Collectors’ premiums are not included.
